Privacy policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This document explains how we process the personal data of people who visit spiderwd.pl or send us an enquiry through the form. We try to keep it simple. If anything is unclear, write to [email protected].
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Spider Web Design, Kacper Andrzej Jaskulski (“we”). For any matter related to personal data, contact us at [email protected].
2. What data we process and why
Quote form
- Data: your name, email address, the selected service and your message.
- Purpose: replying to your enquiry, preparing a quote and, if you decide to work with us, concluding a contract.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in handling correspondence).
- Retention: until the conversation ends, then no longer than 12 months in case you get back to us. If we sign a contract, we keep the data for the duration of the contract and for the periods required by tax law and the statute of limitations for claims.
Providing the data is voluntary, but without your name and email address we cannot reply.
Server logs
Each time you visit the website, the server automatically records basic technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, the page visited and browser information. We process it to keep the website running and secure, for example to protect it from attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept briefly, in line with the hosting provider’s settings, and are not used to identify visitors.
What we don’t do
We don’t use analytics tools, advertising pixels or profiling. We don’t sell data or make automated decisions about you. Fonts are served from our own server, with no requests to external font providers.
3. Who we share data with
We use service providers that process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements and only to the extent needed to provide their services:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting and website protection),
- Resend, Inc. (delivering form messages to our inbox),
- our email provider (storing correspondence).
Cloudflare and Resend are based in the United States. Data is transferred outside the European Economic Area on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or, for entities not covered by it, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.
4. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy,
- rectify your data,
- have your data erased,
- restrict processing,
- data portability for data processed in connection with a contract,
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
To exercise your rights, write to [email protected]. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl).
5. Cookies
The website stores a single first-party cookie, and only when you change the language. See the cookie policy for details.
6. Security
The connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS). The form is protected against spam in a way that doesn’t require any extra data from you.
7. Changes to this policy
If the way we process data changes, for example if we add visitor statistics, we will update this document and the date at the top of the page. The current version is always available at spiderwd.pl/en/privacy-policy.
